West Herts Homes are delighted that its development of 4 new homes for local people is moving forward at High Street, London Colney.

The new homes are due to be available for occupation in Spring 2021.

Sir Mike Penning declares West Herts Homes open for business

On 26 July 2019, the Rt. Hon. Sir Mike Penning, M.P., officiated at the opening of West Herts Homes new office in Hemel Hempstead. In addition to Sir Mike, guests at the event included the Mayor of Dacorum, the Leader of Dacorum Borough Council, and the Cabinet members for Housing from the City and District of St. Albans, and Hertsmere Borough Council.  

West Herts Homes operates in St. Albans, Dacorum, Hertsmere, Watford, and the London Borough of Barnet, and delivers excellent services that saw the association listed as one of the Top 50 Landlords in the UK in 2018.  

Sir Mike Penning said: “I am pleased to welcome another new business locating in Hemel Hempstead. This is a positive sign that businesses have confidence in our town and prepared to invest in the area.

“With their focus on people who need support in the community West Herts Homes will fulfil a vital role in the area. I wish them every success.”

West Herts Homes – A Top 50 Landlord

In 2018, West Herts Homes were delighted to be named as one the Top 50 Landlords in England and Wales in a competition run by 24Housing magazine.

West Herts Homes Chief Executive, Paul Eastwood, said: “To be included within the list of Top 50 Landlords was welcome recognition for our person focused housing service,  and demonstrates that locally based housing associations can make a valuable contribution to their communities and help overcome the shortage of affordable homes”.
